How to Get to Mystic Beach Falls Trailhead. The parking lot for Mystic Beach is shared with nearby China beach, and is an hour fifteen minutes west of Victoria or forty minutes east of Port Renfrew along scenic coastal highway 14. Look out for a wooden sign that says “China Beach Juan de Fuca Park Day Use Trail-head”. Turn here and park in.. Mystic Beach. The trail hits the beach roughly in the center. Find the continuation of the Juan de Fuca Trail at the west end of the beach along with a creek to get drinking water.. The toilets and bear cache are located up a steep side trail just east of the route from the trailhead.. This beach doesn’t have that many campsite options.There are a few tent sites tucked into the forest behind.

Near the southernmost point of Vancouver Island, Mystic Beach is situated at the eastern end of the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, right after the Jordan River, and midway between Sooke and Port Renfrew.. Camping & Backpacking Mystic Beach. One of the best experiences on the Island is to camp directly on Mystic Beach. It can be a beautiful experience waking up next to the waves and the dense coastal forest. You will need to book a permit from BC Parks. The camping fees are $10 a night for adults and $5 a night for children.
