For most travelers, the question of “Koh Yao Yai or Koh Yao Noi” doesn’t register—they don’t realize either of these islands, which sit between Krabi and Phuket (but in Phang Nga province, ostensibly) exist. I actually fell into this group until earlier this year, when a long-time Travel Coaching client of mine recommended I visit a particular luxury resort on Koh Yao Noi.. The vast expanse of deserted beaches on both Koh Yao islands pack all the fun into relatively mini-sites. The appeal and aesthetics of the west coast of Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi is too captivating to leave behind. Discover the culture of predominantly Muslim community that is very laid-back, close-knit, and different from Phuket.

We stayed at a new resort Yao Bada Badoo a boutique resort where we rented a private five bedroom villa. Beautiful art and very spacious rooms and ensuite bathroom. It was full board at the restaurant on the resort which is also open to outsiders.
